Sen. Robert Duncan
This morning the Senate State Affairs Committee voted out HB 1325 by Rep. Doug Miller (R-New Braunfels) and recommended the bill for placement on the Senate Local and Consent Calendar. HB 1325 establishes a procedure for dismissing inactive asbestos and silica claims filed before September 1, 2005. Senator Robert Duncan (R-Lubbock) is the Senate sponsor, and we deeply appreciate Chairman Duncan’s active support for the bill.
