HB 912 by Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Terrell) was voted favorably from the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Rural Affairs & Homeland Security earlier today. The bill was substantially amended on the House floor to accommodate business and industry concerns and came out of Senate committee without further amendment. The Senate sponsor of HB 912 is Sen. Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls).
