Updated 5-21-21

HB 2730 passed Senate Jurisprudence last night and was recommended for the Local & Uncontested Calendar.  Senator Koklhorst has the option to leave it on Local or move it to the Intent Calendar.  Either way, it should be before the full Senate in the next couple days.

5-19-21

HB 2730 will be heard Thursday in Senate Jurisprudence at 9:00am in 2E.20, the Betty King Committee Room.  CCI will provide testimony and resource witnesses.

Please attend the hearing Thursday and sign a card FOR HB 2730, or send a member of your team to do so.  Be sure to get a COVID test and wrist band at the tents on the way into the Capitol.  The Senate requires a negative COVID wrist band to enter a hearing room and this committee offers physical witness cards only, no electronic registration.  The cards are available in the back of the committee room.

There are several hearings set for tomorrow morning, so allow some extra time to get a wrist band and get to the hearing by 9:00 or very shortly thereafter.  There are a lot of bills on the agenda but they will move quickly.
