Justice Randy Wilson

Governor Greg Abbott has made appointments to both Houston Courts of Appeals. For the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, the Governor named former Harris County District Judge Randy Wilson to fill a term that expires at the end of 2022. Justice Wilson is currently a partner at Susman Godfrey in Houston and is board certified in civil trial law. For the First District Court of Appeals, the Governor tabbed April Farris, an appellate litigation partner at Yetter Coleman in Houston. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Farris formerly served as Assistant Solicitor General for the Office of the Attorney General. She, too, will serve through the end of 2022.
