HB 1325 by Rep. Doug Miller (R-New Braunfels), which establishes a process to dismiss claims that do not meet medical criteria for an impairment caused by exposure to asbestos or silica, has been scheduled for hearing on Monday, April 1 in House Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence. The meeting will be held in E2.012 upon adjournment of the House Monday afternoon. TCJL strongly supports this legislation and would appreciate TCJL members to register their support for the bill on Monday.
